Our vineyards are 100% organic, managed by expert farmers and agronomists whose aim is to make high-quality wines that get their start between these rows. Quality is the main goal from the very beginning, throughout the growth and production cycle – starting with pruning, budding, blooming, fruit set, veraison (when the grapes begin to change color), cluster thinning, harvest and finally, the selection of the grapes. All this, taking into account the correct phenolic and aromatic ripening, leading to the perfect balance between sugars and acidity and just the right amount of anthocyanins, tannins, and aromas.

Because of their location, aspect, latitude, and longitude, our vineyards give life to unique wines, full of elegance, structure, longevity, and fruity aromas. Even the winds and lighter breezes from the nearby Pratomagno zone ventilate the vineyards, contributing to their health.

“It is among these rows that we begin making our wines, caring for the quality of our soils and our grapes.”

Where great wines are born

The cellar is where our grapes conclude their journey to becoming wine. When they arrive in the cellar, they go through a natural transformation into wine, before beginning suitable aging in temperature-controlled steel vats, concrete tanks, ceramic containers, and oak barrels. The only thing we do is favor natural fermentation, intervening as little as possible.

Sustainability

The goal is to combine high-plant density, spurred-cordon vine training, and a low number of buds per plant to obtain carefully selected grapes appropriate to making unique wines, full of elegance, structure, longevity, and spectacular fruity scents. It starts with very short pruning, careful green harvest, and thinning before picking. When the grapes arrive in the cellar, they go through a destemming machine (a special mill that uses vibration, leaving the grapes intact). Then we manually select the individual grapes to maintain uncompromising quality. All this because our company philosophy is that to make great wines we must start from great grapes.
